Staffed by a small group of loyal Taoseños and Taoseñas, Franzetti Design utilizes state of the art CNC plasma cutting equipment to bring hand made functional and decorative metal craft to the wholesale and retail markets.

Focusing on both pure sculptural forms and functional architectural pieces enables Pozzi's work to satisfy the needs of home owners, architects , interior designers and retailers, as well as the general public. We specialize in custom designs for many applications. Visit the studio or write with your ideas.

Franzetti's work is displayed both nationally and internationally. It has appeared in major magazines and catalogues as well as shops and galleries across the country.

Pozzi talks about her background and her work:

If you've already cruised this site you know quite a bit about me.

People describe my work as "whimsical" but I prefer "elegantly zany".

Everything one does in life, from the smallest gesture to the creation of a masterpiece, is an expression of self in relation to our world. In this sense we are all artists, creating things, which in turn evoke an emotional response. I'd like to present you with "the lighter side of heavy metal"...

My Welsh Corgi and mentor, Gizmo (see "Roverblader") wags his tail and barks excitedly at photographic images of dogs. They move him! One should interact with their artifacts ....I hope that you will be moved to smile, grin or bark at my art!

I was raised and properly schooled in the heartland town of Madison, Wisconsin, of an artist mother and a journalist father. My mother encouraged my creative efforts while my father tickled my funny bone. Adding a good dose of grounding midwestern pragmatism, they sent me off into the world to fend for myself, armed with the belief that there could be no other mission in life than to follow your heart. Nobody ever told me I couldn't.

So, here I am in Taos. New Mexico via San Francisco. My heart has taken me all over and I've really enjoyed the trip.

Ahem...and now,

My Resumé:

I've found that I have a special connection with the folks who are drawn to my work, so look me up if you're ever in Taos!

I'm rarely at the gallery, but often at the studio. You can e-mail me at pozetti@ laplaza.org .

Advice from my dog: "Keep those tails waggin and always avoid biting when a simple growl will do". .
